    Description

Reproduction of D. C. Muller-Dentzel Carousel Horse: Price: ,900 OBO.
The original beautiful and mysterious “Mexican” Muller-Dentzel Carousel Stander of Chapultepec Park in Mexico City was carved by D. C. Muller and was discovered by the Higareda Brothers in the early 1990s and is absolutely stunning! Renowned carousel artist Lise Liepman restored the original, and painted this wooden reproduction as well. It features Lise Liepman’s signature, dated March 1997.
The original was featured on the cover of “The Carousel News & Trader” 1997 buyers guide magazine issue. This is the only wooden reproduction of the “Mexican” Muller-Dentzel Carousel Stander in existence! The resemblance is truly striking.
The exquisite, carved medieval decor is enhanced by Ms. Liepman’s unparalleled artistry and is complemented by a real horse tail. The base includes wheels for mobility.
    Dimensions: 69” long, 77“ tall, 20“ wide.
