    Description

Incredibly rare and complete 'run' of 14 (two week's worth) daily musical programs from historic Willow Grove Park, PA, for season of 1913 featuring the 'Orchestral Band' of Frederick Innes from Sunday, July 20th through Saturday, August 2nd, 1913.  Innes' Band played four concerts a day for two weeks featuring vocal and instrumental soloists as in the style of his contemporaries Patrick Conway, Arthur Pryor, and John Philip Sousa who all appeared at Willow Grove this season.  Innes was a skilled trombone soloist second only to the great Arthur Pryor besides being a fine conductor.  These program were removed from a bound volume so expect one edge showing thread holes, marginal chipping, tears, and glue residue none of which drastically affects the appearance of each.  Programs measure approx 8x8" unfolded as these never made it to the folding machine and therefore were never distributed to the public.  I have included images of the complete run with dates, the first and last day's program, as well as what I deem as the roughest edge of all 20 programs to give you an idea.  It is difficult enough to find a Sousa or Pryor program from any year let alone to have a complete, intact engagement of any one of these professional ensembles.  Please consider our B-I-N option to avoid disappointment or make a strong offer.  Winner  pays shipping.  PayPal payment appreciated within two days of purchase - thank you!  All sales are final and please view our other ongoing sales for similar items.  We'll happily combine shipping on multiple purchases to save you $$ on shipping.  If our shipping estimate is less than actual charges, we'll refund you the difference.  Thank you for the privilege of your time and continued good health and wellness!
