    c1988 Signed Lucite Reversed Carved CARDINAL Flowering Tree Figurine Sculpture
    Stunning vintage reverse carved decorative Lucite figurine of a Cardinal bird sitting in a beautiful tree with white flowers. This has been made by the artist and is therefore probably a unique piece. Signed 'Wald' and the year '88. It stands approx. 9" tall x 5.75" at the widest part. The stand is 2.5" deep x 4" wide. (my lower stand not included). Photos say it all actually. I call this Lucite it may be acrylic or perspex, I cannot say, but a lot of these reverse carvings were made out of Lucite, easier to carve possibly.
    Lovely as a decorative piece, a paper weight, have the sunlight filter through, something to enjoy. Very good condition, some very light scratches, maybe a light wash needed.
